Performance Exhaust Warranty

The manufacturer warrants that all Magnaflow Performance Products are free from defects. Most of our exhaust products are warranted against blowouts and defects in material and workmanship for as long as the original purchaser owns the vehicle on which it was originally installed. The warranty is void if the exhaust products are not installed properly on the vehicle for which it is designed.

This warranty does not apply to any exhaust product which has been installed on any commercial or racing vehicle or which has been improperly installed, altered, or subjected to misuse or damage from accidents. Also, cost of labor and any additional parts required to complete installation of a replacement product are not covered by this warranty.

The warranty certificate, along with proof of purchase, MUST be presented to the service outlet from which you originally purchased the exhaust product, or any participating dealer, when making a claim for replacement. The original exhaust product must also be returned and exchanged for a new exhaust product of the same part number.

No other warranty, expressed or implied (including merchantability), applies to the exhaust product, nor is any person or the manufacturer authorized to assume any other warranty. The manufacturer does not assume any responsibility for any consequential damages occurred by the exhaust product, or inconvenience or interruption in any operation.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Catalytic Converters Warranties

  1. ORIGINAL WARRANTY CERTIFICATE AND INSTALLATION STATEMENT
    To be completely filled out by installer and returned to manufacturer. Include dealer name, complete address and phone number. Include customer name, complete address and phone number. Vehicle make, year, model, engine size, mileage and date must be filled out. The part number installed must be filled out. The Installation Statement must be completed by installer, stating the reason for replacement. Vehicle owner and installer must sign and date the Warranty Certificate /Installation Statement.
  2. CATALYTIC CONVERTER WARRANTY STATEMENT INSTALLER´S COPY
    To be retained by Installer with copy of the invoice for six (6) months.
  3. CUSTOMER´S COPY
    To be retained by the vehicle owner.

Catalytic Converters are emission control devices which are designed to last the life of the vehicle and do not normally require replacement. Furthermore, if the vehicle is properly used and maintained, original converters are covered by the emission control warranty for 8 years or 80,000 miles. Federal law prohibits repair businesses from replacing these devices except under certain limited circumstances. This replacement converter is warranted to meet EPA requirements for 25,000 miles from date of installation. The external shell is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first, from date of installation. There is no warranty for clogged, melted or contaminated substrates. Also, warranty does not cover noise levels.

In order to verify that proper circumstances exist, the owner of the vehicle on which such repairs are made and a facility representative must sign the required statements on the warranty card.


LIABILITY

Liability of thepartshack.com is limited to replacement of product under warranty. Under no circumstances will thepartshack.com be liable for other damages or labor claims. Any modifications made by customer is at their own risk and thepartshack.com will not be responsible for any damages or degradation of customer vehicle.


RETURNS

Complete customer satisfaction is to be had when dealing with www.thepartshack.com. You may return the unused, unaltered part within 31 days of receipt as long as it is returned in original packaging. Installed parts are not returnable. Customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. Customer is required to contact customer service at sales@thepartshack.com for return authorization number. Be sure that the product is packaged so that it does not incur damages during shipping. In the event that damages occur in shipping, credit will not be issued until claim has been settled with the carrier.
